Winner of my Nancy Drew Giveaway!

"You know you're getting old when you stoop down to tie your shoelaces and wonder what else you could do while you're down there"   -----George Burns

I am still trying to get my schedule back to "normal", (whatever that may be), after finishing my x-ray presentation on Daylight Savings "Spring Forward" weekend.......and actually being at work when the time changed.......(I do that twice a year since I work the weekend graveyard shift)..............

So I have a confession to make............even after being there and watching the atomic clock move forward an hour, I got off work at 7:00 on Sunday morning and FORGOT to change my clocks at home!  I rested very well all day Sunday and went to sleep......woke up Monday morning when the alarm rang and suddenly realized that I was going to be an hour late to work........uh huh.......

This week I attended my very first opera!  The Barber of Seville was wonderful!  I will have to do that again............so with that plus another commitment Friday evening before I went to work....my sewing time was cut a bit short but I did manage to squeeze in enough time to get these two rug mugs made..............
This one is for a swap...............and it went out today.....I have been practicing on the mug rugs now with my embroidery machine and it is so much fun!

My son asked me to make him a mug rug and here is his......again I added some machine embroidery......he loved it!

Well now................how about the giveaway winner????

Now that Nancy Drew is looking for clues elsewhere..........I have asked Mr. Random to lend a hand and tell me who won my giveaway..............you remember the Nancy Drew charms plus some Autumn and Spring charms I am giving away????

Here is the winning number..............

I, like Chez above, couldn't comment on Bloglovin either. I love your mug rugs (even if you call them rug mugs in one instance in your post, jaja). I know Josh will get a lot of use from his and your swap partner has got to love those pretty colors. Congratulations to the winner of your giveaway. I like charms and yours are beautiful. Lucky winner :)

What??? Not set your clocks back? Oh dear. I'm sure there were probably a lot of perople in the same boat.

Your mug rugs look wonderful. I'll bet your son loved his.

Welcome to the wonderful world of opera! I'm a long time opera goer. I'd like to suggest "Carmen" as another fun opera for a newbie. "La Traviata" and "Madame Butterfly" are also good ones. One of my all time favorite operas is "Lucia di Lammermoor." What will you see next?

Congrats to Barb! I love your mug rugs, especially the ladybug :-).

I've seen several operas... my favorite is Phantom of the Opera (on Broadway, of course!).

I hope you're having a great week and you're back to "normal" (term used loosely, LOL).
