Good-bye Presentation....Hello Quilting!

"Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for." -Epicurus

Yay!  I just got home from my 1 hour talk to the Rio Grande Imaging Society, having made good on my commitment to provide a continuing education presentation for them.  Every two years, all registered Imaging Technologists must attend 24 hours of continuing education seminars or online courses in order to maintain their national registry.  Every year the RGIS has 4 seminars with 4 speakers and I somehow manage to commit myself to them once during that year.  I am always happy AFTER I finish because I have done a good thing, while at the same time, I have learned the information I present much better than anyone else in the room!  During the "last minute", (where I so often find myself) I am probably not so happy.  Seems like no matter how many times I do this......(This is my 4th or 5th presentation for them....I loose track).........my procrastinating nature will not let me start early.........well anyway.........I'm done!.......(UPDATE....I just found out that there were 104 people in the audience....... and this was the first time I wasn't nervous)

............and now I can get back to my State Bird Dresden quilt......

or maybe my Little Apples Quilt?????

It is almost 4th of July and I still have to finish quilting my Americana Tablecloth.............

---------------ahhhhhh.........and Dorothy and Oz are still calling me to lay out  my  flower garden.........

However..... what I'm going to do now is take a nap because I am working graveyard shift again tonight............but tomorrow..........tomorrow I belong to my SINGER!  There will be some action up in the sewing room on Sunday!.............
So TaTaForNow......

*Huge HUG* So glad to hear it went well and you've got it out of the way. I hate talking in front of loads of people. 10 is too big a group.

I'm sure you'll decide on which one. You'll walk in and just know =D

I knew you would do well but I'm glad it's over too so you can get back to what you really want to do. Maybe start another UFO if you can't decide which to finish, jaja.

gotta love them CEU's! I know the guys at the station (Honeyman is a fireman and they all have to have their Paramedic) try to get them out of the way! At least we have a state and not the national! Their CEU requirements are NUTZ!! Oh, well! Have to do it!
