Values are like fingerprints. Nobody's are the same, but you leave 'em all over everything you do.— Elvis Presley
I am still not sure where I want Dorothy's friends to be in the poppy field but here is one thought................
I think I will try a few layouts before I decide.................
In earlier posts I have shown you some photos of our two turtles, Donnie and Stevie, and here are some more.......these two little ladies are so different from each other! The big one, Donnie, loves vegetables....mostly fruits like watermelon and apricots where the little one, Stevie, is a protein lover! She loves hamburger!
And just as they have different palates.......they both like water but Donnie likes the spa.......................
and Stevie likes to swim in the great outdoors......lol......these little gals make my day!
I am linking up with Karen's One Flower Wednesday page and I hope you will go check out the other flowers there........
Just Click HERE...........
Hope you are all having a wonderful day............talk to you next time!

love the poppy field hexies Ida and your turtles are very cute and interesting, hope you have a lovely day my friend.xx
Turtles are so funny! Do you let them roam free, or are they house pets?
Thanks for visiting! I love your flowers with the fussy cut centers! I am thinking that I have to do that with a couple of mine for my daughter to find when I finally get it all done! It's so great to have the encouragement! (and thanks for telling me it was "still" Wednesday somewhere in the world! haha!)
See you again next week!
Very cute turtles! I am interested to see what you decide for placement.
Those poppies are such fun flowers. I know you will pick the best placement for the friends. Love the turtle fun!
I like how all the friends are spread throughout the poppies. And I love how your turtles are spread throughout your backyard.
I can see all those friends frolicking in the poppy field on a warm summer day. Do Stevie and Donnie frolick too? Somehow I can't picture turtles frolicking but I bet they are fun to have around.
Those turtles really are opposites. I'll bet that water feels great to them - either way!
That poppy field is amazing. I like how you have put her "friends" throughout the field.
Wonderful flower and love the turtle....they are so cute...I just cringe when I see them in the road.
So the name of your blog is so perfect that I decided to follow...but then I saw the bird house. MY husband has ALS and wants a bluebird house. I think I will just call the Audubon Society to see if they have them. Then I saw your turtle. I was raised in Arizona where my grandmother bought my brother a turtle from Woolworths in a little plastic dish with a palm tree. That turtle lived for years..at least 25 years in a plastic pool in the yard. When Grandma died at 99, we had to call a turtle society to donate it as Herman was so spoiled!!
