I had seen a vintage teapot that someone had flipped the lid over and inserted a pincushion, then used the teapot to hold sewing notions and had wanted to try it out for awhile...........
Unfortunately I couldn't see how a big teapot close to any of my sewing projects would fit without me tipping it over to the floor......but then I started thinking about a little vintage sugar bowl that had been tucked away in a kitchen cabinet and thought......hmmmmm....that might work......
So I mentioned another sponsor for the PPPP! I wish I could say the stitchery is my own work but I snipped it out of a damaged vintage piece I found at a second hand store.

OMG! I’m so excited about the Pincushion Parade. I’ve been busily making pincushions since we’re at our ranch sheltering from the coronavirus and my pincushion collection is elsewhere. I can’t wait to see everyone else’s pincushions for new ideas. I like your idea of using a vintage embroidery AND a teacup or teapot as the base. Beautiful work you do.
Oh that looks great ... our op shop is still closed Sew can't go searching for old teapots/ sugar bowls or doilies....😢
